🇷🇺Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky ： Children’s Album Winter Morning in h-moll Op.39-2

The piece makes a vivid impression with its poised, lively character, suggesting the beginning of a day in the cold air. Short phrases are passed between the voices with crisp articulation, while the contrast between stillness and movement evokes the changing atmosphere of a winter morning. Its overall design is easy to hear as a main section, a contrasting middle section, and a return of the opening material. At the beginning, keep the beat clearly flowing and use the staccatos and rests to convey freshness. Bring the melody slightly forward of the accompaniment, while maintaining tension even in softer passages, to give this concise music vitality.
