🇩🇪Felix Mendelssohn ： Serenade and Allegro Giojoso in h-moll and D-Dur MWV.O12 Op.43

Written for piano and orchestra, this work consists of two contrasting sections. In the opening Serenade, the piano’s singing melodies and its intimate exchanges with the orchestra are central to the music’s appeal. The Allegro giocoso that follows brings light rhythmic energy and a bright sense of motion to the foreground. In performance, it is important to preserve the natural breathing of the melodic lines while maintaining a well-balanced relationship with the accompaniment. In the latter section, clear coordination of the detailed passagework, without rushing, allows its buoyant rhythm to shine.
