🇧🇷Heitor Villa-Lobos ： A Prole do Bebê No.2 Glass Little Wolf

“Glass Little Wolf” is one of the miniatures that make up Villa-Lobos’s A Prole do Bebê No. 2. Within its compact span, brittle, transparent sonorities alternate with nimble, sharply etched gestures suggestive of a wolf, while changes of register and dynamics shape its character. The small movements should be articulated note by note, with accents kept controlled so that the music retains its buoyant momentum. Use the pedal sparingly to prevent the sonorities from becoming blurred, and listen carefully for the tension in quieter passages and the moments when the expression changes suddenly.
