🇪🇸Enrique Granados ： Romantic Scenes Allegro Appassionato

This passionate character piece is included in Granados’s Romantic Scenes, Op. 5. While maintaining the momentum of the Allegro, its singing melodies alternate with brilliant motion, shaping changes between tension and release. The work is best understood as one broad musical arc, while carefully conveying the distinct expressive character of each passage. Fast figures should not be played forcefully; instead, maintain rhythmic drive and evenness of touch, taking care that the melody does not become buried in the inner voices or accompaniment. Clear dynamic contrast and pedal use adjusted to harmonic changes will help preserve both its heat and its delicacy.
