Alexander Scriabin ： 2 Impromptus Fis-Dur Op.12-1

This impromptu combines the brightness of F-sharp major with delicate, introspective lyricism. A long-breathed melody unfolds above a flowing accompaniment, while rich chromatic harmonies bring changing shades of color. One of its attractions is the progression from the calm atmosphere at the opening, through a rise in expression and tension, and back toward serenity near the end. The melody should be brought clearly to the foreground, while the accompaniment remains light and supple; the pedal should connect the sound without allowing it to become blurred.
