Sergei Rachmaninov ： Prelude G-Dur Op.32-5

A calm and beautiful prelude with pastoral brightness and an almost impressionistic softness. The accompaniment must flow gently while the melody rises naturally above it. The main challenges are balancing a light touch with enough resonance and using pedal without blurring the texture. More than large-scale virtuosity, the piece depends on transparent tone and a natural sense of breathing.
