🇷🇺Alexander Scriabin ： Nocturne As-Dur WoO 3

This nocturne layers a gently singing melody over a continuously swaying accompaniment, evoking nighttime stillness and inward emotion. Although the melody maintains a flowing character throughout, changes in register and harmonic density create gradual shifts of atmosphere within the piece. A key point to listen for is the contrast between the breathing quality of the main line and the soft motion created by the accompaniment. In performance, the right hand should remain clear and expressive without allowing the left hand to become too heavy. The pedal should connect the resonance without making it cloudy, while a natural sense of breath toward each phrase’s climax helps bring out the music’s delicate expression.
