🇵🇱Frederic Chopin ： Mazurka no.44 g-moll Op.67-2

Among Chopin’s mazurkas, this is a concise piece that condenses delicate feeling into a compact form. Built on the dance-like rhythm of triple meter, it takes shape through a lyrical melody and subtle contrasts and repetitions between phrases. Its appeal lies in the changing shades of the melody within its seemingly simple gestures, as well as the fine nuances that emerge as the music moves from one passage to another. In performance, the characteristic mazurka accents should not be emphasized mechanically; instead, keep the left-hand accompaniment light and let the melody sing naturally. Avoid excessive tempo fluctuations, and use flexible rubato that follows the music’s breathing to bring out the dance’s supple, intimate character.
