🇷🇺Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky ： In the Village in D-Dur

Centered on a simple, tranquil melody, this miniature conveys Mussorgsky’s direct expressiveness through an approachable, almost speech-like manner. The presentation of the melody serves as the musical focus, while changes in the accompaniment, register, and dynamics shape the flow and create a natural sense of rise and fall. In performance, keep the right-hand melody clear without allowing the left hand to become too heavy, and preserve a natural breath rather than adhering too rigidly to the meter. Careful attention to the beginning and resonance of each sound brings out the subtle shades within its simplicity.
