🇦🇹Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ： Gigue in G-Dur K.574

This short keyboard work by Mozart is distinguished by the dance-like momentum of a gigue and contrapuntal writing in which the individual voices pass ideas from one to another. Its concise design consists of two sections, and it is important to carry the music forward while maintaining the flow of each one. The lively shorter notes should not be rushed; clarifying the beat and the direction of each phrase brings transparency to the sound. Listen for the imitation between voices and the shifts of register, while avoiding excessive force in the intricate motion. Clear articulation and natural dynamic shaping help convey the buoyancy of the dance in this piece.
