🇭🇺Bartók Béla Viktor János ： For Children Vol.1 No.40 Swineherd’s Dance BB 53 Sz 42

This is a concise and striking miniature in which a rustic, lively dance character comes to the fore. Repeated short motifs and rhythmic patterns drive the music forward, while sharp accents and nimble motion create an earthy atmosphere. Short sections follow one another with contrasting character, bringing the piece to a close while maintaining its momentum toward the end. In performance, avoid making every beat equally heavy; instead, clarify the placement of accents to bring out the buoyancy of the dance. Do not rush the tempo, balance the hands carefully, and introduce subtle changes of expression in repeated motifs so that the vitality within the simple writing can be heard.
