🇮🇹Muzio Clementi ： 6 Progressive Sonatinas No.1 in C-Dur Op.36-1

This sonatina opens Clementi’s progressive collection of study pieces and consists of three movements. The first movement is marked by lively, clear motion; the second features a calm, singing melody; and the third brings a light and lively sense of conclusion. Throughout the work, the roles of melody and accompaniment are easy to distinguish, making it well suited to learning phrase structure and basic dynamic control. In performance, the melody in the right hand should emerge naturally while the left hand remains light and well balanced, keeping the texture clear. By observing the character of each movement, avoiding haste in the smaller note values, and maintaining clear articulation with flexible expression, the music can sound vivid and engaging.
