🇭🇺Bartók Béla Viktor János ： For Children First Edition Vol.1 No.5 Playing BB 53 Sz 42

This short character piece combines lively motion with a simple, approachable quality. Phrases shaped by clear rhythms move briskly, while repetition and changes of register create a vivid impression reminiscent of play. One of its highlights is the way concise musical ideas take on changing expressions as they unfold, along with the light sense of tension created within its brief sections. In performance, maintain the flow of the beat without making each note too heavy, and use the staccatos and accents clearly. Carefully balance the dynamic contrasts, and with natural phrasing that avoids sounding mechanical, bring out the piece’s agility and humor.
