🇺🇸William L. Gillock ： Accent On 1 Dancing in the Garden in G-Dur

This miniature rides on a lively rhythm, with a buoyant melody that suggests a scene of dancing around a garden. Its short phrases move energetically, while the motion of the cheerful main idea and the changes in dynamics and character provide important points of interest. Let the right-hand melody sing lightly, keep the flow of the beat steady in the left hand, and release the keys quickly for crisp, clean staccato. Maintaining energy through the end of each phrase and emphasizing dynamic contrasts will bring out its dance-like character.
