Johann Sebastian Bach ： English Suite no.4 F-Dur BWV 809

Beginning with a Prelude, the suite proceeds through an Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Menuet I, Menuet II, and Gigue, with each movement clearly reflecting the character of a dance. The opening movements unfold through flowing motion and dialogue between the voices, while the Sarabande invites a restrained expression and carefully shaped melodic lines. In the latter half, the two Menuets should be contrasted, and the closing Gigue brought together with a light touch, lively rhythm, and imitative motion. Throughout the work, ornaments should be integrated naturally into the musical flow, while inner voices remain audible and the differing pulse and tempo character of each dance are clearly conveyed.
