🇪🇸Enrique Granados ： En la aldea – Rural Dance

Included in Granados’s piano duet collection In the Village, Rural Dance is appealing for its simple, approachable character, reminiscent of a village celebration, and its buoyant dance rhythms. The exchange of melodic lines and the movement of the accompaniment combine as the two players carry the music forward as one. A key point to listen for is the changing expression that emerges within the overall flow. In performance, it is important not to rush in pursuit of lightness, but to coordinate the metric weight and dance-like accents. The melodic parts should sing clearly, while the accompaniment remains sonically controlled, allowing the duet to sound bright and natural.
