🇷🇺Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky ： Volunteer Fleet March in C-Dur

This march is marked by the clear sonority of C major and a regular, vigorous sense of forward motion. Crisp rhythms support the music throughout, while a dignified main theme alternates with contrasting passages that soften the atmosphere. Highlights include the sense of elation created whenever the main theme returns and the celebratory sonority produced by the rich chords. In performance, it is important to maintain a unified sense of the beat without overemphasizing the strong beats. Keeping the left-hand accompaniment steady and allowing the right-hand melody to sing clearly will naturally bring out the brilliance and momentum. In the contrasting passages, reducing the volume and conveying their different character from the main section will make the overall structure easier to hear.
