🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in f-moll K.462 L.438

Built from concise motifs, the music unfolds in a succession of lively ideas, with intricate keyboard movement and rhythmic momentum capturing the ear. Its two-part structure gains interest from the contrast between the opening and closing sections, as the same material reappears in varied forms. The ornaments and rapid passages should be kept flowing, while the exchanges between the hands should remain clear. Evenness of touch, a sense of phrase direction, and awareness of harmonic changes will bring out the tension and forward motion within its concise style.
