🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in F-Dur K.317 L.66

Scarlatti’s Sonata in F major, K.317 L.66, is appealing for its bright, approachable sonority and lively sense of motion. Within its concise, single-movement design, brief motives are passed between the hands and changes of key are woven into the music, carrying it forward through contrasting openings and endings. In performance, it is important to articulate the parts of the right and left hands clearly while maintaining a steady pulse through the rapid figures. Ornaments should be integrated naturally without interrupting the flow, and restrained use of the pedal helps bring out the light articulation and direction of each phrase.
