🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in d-moll K.41

Domenico Scarlatti’s Sonata in d minor, K.41, unfolds at a gentle tempo, where a singing melody intersects with delicate keyboard movement. Heard as a two-part structure in which the opening and closing sections respond to one another, the musical flow becomes clearer when attention is paid to changes of key and the points of arrival in each phrase. Ornaments should not be played mechanically, but lightly, following the breath of the melody. Keep the accompaniment patterns even without making the texture too dense; careful attention to the balance between voices and the space within the rests brings out the quiet tension and poised character of the work.
