🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in D-Dur K.415 L.S11

This one-movement sonata is marked by lively forward momentum and a clear sense of phrasing. It is based on a two-part structure with repeats of the first and second sections, while short motifs are passed between voices to propel the music forward. At changes of scene, it is important to recognize shifts in register and figuration and to shape each cadence carefully. In performance, the right-hand ornaments and rapid details should remain clear, while the left hand provides a light rhythmic support, allowing the overall flow to stay lively. Rather than using excessively heavy dynamics, add expression in response to the variations on repeats and the changing harmony.
