🇳🇴Edvard Grieg ： Six Norwegian Mountain Songs Folk Tune

This is a concise and approachable piano miniature based on a folk tune. A simple melody takes center stage, shaped by singing phrases and rhythms that suggest a folk-inspired vitality. Within its short spans, the character of the melody shifts subtly, making the careful direction of each phrase and the spacing around rests important points to hear. Keep the accompaniment from covering the melody, and play the smaller movements lightly and naturally without rushing. By balancing simplicity with a sense of movement rather than exaggerating the dynamic contrasts, the piece’s appeal comes through.
