🇪🇸Manuel de Falla ： Serenata

Falla’s Serenata is a short piano piece that evokes the lyrical intimacy of a nighttime song through the sonority of the piano. A singing melody meets its supporting accompaniment with gentle interplay, allowing the music to unfold with a sense of changing scenes. One of its attractions lies in shaping the overall flow while carefully preserving the melody’s breath and the ends of its phrases. Keep the accompaniment light and maintain a balance that allows the melody to remain clear. Avoid abrupt changes in dynamics, and use a lingering touch to bring out the quiet emotion and natural Spanish color of the music.
