🇪🇸Isaac Albéniz ： Serenade Arabe in a-moll

This serenade is marked by a gently singing melody and the subtle sway created by its accompaniment. Centered on a melody that suggests an intimate, conversational quality, its character shifts through changes in register and sonority, giving the piece a natural sense of unity. Highlights include the exotic coloring of the right-hand melody and the soft flow supported by the left-hand accompaniment. In performance, keep the breathing of the melody while avoiding haste in the smaller notes, and carefully distinguish the volume of the melody from that of the accompaniment. Use the pedal without allowing the sound to linger excessively, so that harmonic changes remain clear and the delicate atmosphere can emerge.
