🇩🇪Clara Schumann ： Scherzo No.1 in d-moll Op.10

This lively and energetic scherzo weaves together delicate motion and crisp, sharply defined rhythms. A key attraction is the contrast between the main section and the more songful character of the middle section, while the changes of mood call for quick and responsive transitions. In performance, it is important to keep the rapid movement clear without overemphasizing the accents, allowing the music to flow naturally. Bringing out the melody and using the pedal sparingly to clarify the sonority helps reveal both the work’s delicate expression and its forward momentum.
