Frederic Chopin ： Rondo à la Mazur F-Dur Op.5

This work combines the recurring character of a light rondo with the dance-like rhythms and accents of the mazurka. Each return of the theme reestablishes the music’s central thread, while the contrasting sections in between create changes of expression. In performance, it is important to preserve the flow of the beat while naturally bringing out the mazurka-like accents, and to let the melody emerge carefully from the accompaniment.
