🇭🇺Franz Liszt ： Piano Piece in Fis-Dur S.193 R.61

This concise piano piece makes expressive use of the brightness and delicate shading of F-sharp major. Within its brief span, the character of the melodic ideas shifts subtly, while the resonance and harmonic colors provide much of its appeal. Rather than treating the work on a grand scale, performers should carefully shape the direction of each phrase. Let the melody sing naturally while keeping the accompaniment restrained, and use the pedal with sensitivity to changes of register and harmony to bring out a transparent sonority and a calm poetic character.
