🇷🇺Anatoly Konstantinovich Lyadov ： Pastorale in Des-Dur Op.25

Lyadov’s Pastorale, Op. 25, is a piano miniature that evokes a quiet scene and poetic feeling through concise writing. A gently singing melody is paired with a soft accompaniment, while the shifting sonorities create subtle shades of expression. Rather than seeking grand effects, performers should shape the breathing of each phrase and allow the melody to emerge naturally. The pedal should support the harmonic changes carefully without clouding the texture, while the inner voices and accompaniment remain restrained. With delicate control of tempo flexibility and dynamics, the pastoral atmosphere and the work’s intimate charm can be brought to life.
