🇭🇺Bartók Béla Viktor János ： Mikrokosmos Vol.1 No.2a Unison Melody 2a BB 105 Sz 107

This is a short elementary study in which both hands play the same melody together. The focus is on following the register and movement of the line while aligning the two hands as one musical strand. Its structure is concise, with particular attention given to hearing the melody’s direction and the grouping of its notes. First, learn the notes accurately in each hand and establish a steady beat at a slow tempo. When bringing the hands together, match their volume and timing of attack so that neither hand stands out, while maintaining a smooth, singing quality. Feeling the divisions between short phrases and adding natural breaths rather than playing mechanically helps the simple melody speak clearly and vividly.
