Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky ： Grande Sonata in G-Dur Op.37

This large-scale work combines the brightness and grandeur of G major with powerful momentum and lyrical expression. It consists of four movements: the first leaves a strong impression through its resolute themes and dramatic development; the second offers a calm, songful character; the third features light, agile movement; and the finale unfolds with brilliance and energy. In performance, it is important to let the melody emerge clearly from the richly voiced chords, while shaping dynamics and using the pedal with care according to the character of each movement.
