🇩🇪Johann Sebastian Bach ： Flute Sonata BWV 1031

This chamber work is distinguished by the bright, poised sonority of E-flat major and the beauty of its song-like melodies. It consists of three movements: the first unfolds with lively motion and phrases that seem to converse with one another, while the second leaves a lasting impression with its calm, slightly wistful melody. The finale has a light rhythm and strong forward momentum, bringing the work to a bright conclusion. When performing it on the piano, it is important to bring out the melody clearly while balancing it with the accompaniment, and to shape the exchanges between the individual lines with care. Ornaments should preserve the flow, supported by a natural expression that allows the music to breathe.
