🇫🇷Claude Debussy ： Children’s Corner “Jimbo’s lullaby” d-moll

Within its gently flowing lullaby, this miniature weaves in broad, elephant-like movement and a touch of charming humor. The weight suggested by the lower-register motion contrasts with the softly swaying melody, while overlapping sonorities create distinctive colors. Rather than relying on abrupt changes, the music gradually shifts its expression before quietly settling toward the end. Even in passages suggesting heaviness, the sound should remain refined; keep the pulse flowing while allowing the melody to sing. Use the pedal carefully so that the resonance does not become blurred, and listen closely to the changing dynamics and lingering aftersounds.
