🇩🇪Robert Schumann ： Bunte Blatter Scherzo d-moll Op.99-13

This Scherzo from Schumann’s Bunte Blätter is characterized by a lively sense of motion built around short motifs and by sharp accents suggestive of a playful wit. In the faster passages, the pianist should clearly distinguish the delicate right-hand movement from the left-hand accompaniment, maintaining the pulse with a light, unburdened touch. In the contrasting passages where the expression relaxes, allowing the melody to sing freely is particularly effective. When the vitality returns, the performance should balance crisp humor with natural forward momentum, without exaggerating the dynamic contrasts.
