🇩🇪Felix Mendelssohn ： Andante in A-Dur MWV.U76

With a tempo suggesting a gentle, unhurried flow, this intimate miniature carefully unfolds a songful melody supported by harmony. The character of the theme introduced at the beginning gradually expands through changes in register and accompaniment, while moments of tension and release shape the musical progression. Particular points of interest include the passing of the melody, the breathing of the phrases, and the delicate movement that emerges in the inner voices. In performance, it is important to keep the right-hand melody clear while maintaining a restrained accompaniment and an uninterrupted sense of pulse. The pedal should follow the harmonic changes without clouding the sound; giving the music a natural rise and fall within its calm character brings out its delicate expression.
