🇫🇷Charles Camille Saint-Saëns ： Album Waltz Op.72

Saint-Saëns’s Album Waltz Op.72-4 is a piano miniature distinguished by its light triple-meter flow and poised melody. Built on a characteristic waltz rhythm, it moves between an elegant principal theme and contrasting passages, creating an overall impression that is bright and refined. Its appeal lies in the natural singing quality of the melody and the supple dance character shaped by the accompaniment. In performance, the left hand should not be made too heavy, while the right-hand melody remains clear. Careful attention to phrasing and dynamic nuance brings an elegant character to its lightness.
