🇧🇷Heitor Villa-Lobos ： A Prole do Bebe No.3 No.3

Villa-Lobos’s “A Prole do Bebê No. 3, No. 3” is a piano miniature that combines an approachable sense of childlike play with distinctive tonal color. Within its brief span, rhythmic movement and changes in register and dynamics create its expressive character, while unexpected shades of nuance emerge beneath its lively surface. Keeping the overall flow in view and clarifying the contrasts within the music will make the piece easier to follow. Avoid making the touch too mechanically uniform; instead, give the smaller figures a buoyant breath and carefully bring out the exchanges between melody and inner voices. Use the pedal with restraint according to the harmony and register, so that the resonance remains clear.
