🇩🇪Clara Schumann ： 30 Songs by Robert Schumann – Er ist’s

Clara Schumann’s piano arrangement of Robert Schumann’s song “Er ist’s.” The flowing line suggests a vocal melody, while the accompanying motion remains closely connected to it, creating both light forward momentum and intimate lyricism. A key point of interest is the way the arrangement maintains its overall unity while carefully bringing out exchanges between the melody and the phrasing. Let the right-hand melody sing, keeping the left hand and inner voices transparent and restrained. Rather than rushing the smaller notes, shape natural rises and falls with a sense of breath to bring out the song-like character.
