🇷🇺Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich ： 24 Preludes and Fugues No.15 in Des-Dur Op.87-15

This piece vividly contrasts the character of its prelude and fugue. The prelude features light movement and an approachable melody, conveying a sense of wit within its concise form. In the fugue that follows, the subject is passed from voice to voice, gradually increasing the musical density and revealing the fascination of counterpoint. In the prelude, avoid making the figures too heavy, and preserve delicate articulation and natural breathing. In the fugue, make each entry clear while keeping the accompanying voices audible, and perform with a clear sense of the overall direction.
