🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in G-Dur K.424 L.289

Scarlatti’s Sonata in G-Dur, K.424 L.289, moves forward through concise musical ideas, finely detailed motion, and clear rhythmic energy. Within its structure, in which the first and second halves develop in contrast, listening for the exchange of motifs and the changes of key helps reveal the overall flow. In performance, ornaments should not sound mechanically inserted; it is important to preserve the direction of the melodic line. Avoid rushing the tempo, balance the dynamics and articulation between the hands, and aim for a light, lucid sonority.
