🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in F-Dur K.316 L.299

Domenico Scarlatti’s Sonata in F-Dur, K.316 L.299, is marked by clear contours and buoyant motion. Short motives seem to pass from one voice to another, while the delicate activity of the right hand and the steady accompaniment of the left carry the music forward in alternation. The contrast and correspondence between the first and second halves make this binary-form sonata rewarding to hear, particularly in its tonal shifts and the changes brought by repetition. In performance, ornaments should be integrated naturally into the musical flow, and the smaller notes should not be rushed. Maintaining supple pulse and clear phrase direction is essential. Carefully balancing the voices and adding restrained accents within a light touch brings out its transparent character.
