🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in e-moll K.233 L.467

This sonata combines the shaded character of E minor with crisp rhythms and flowing movement. Built on a concise binary form, it develops the musical material introduced in the first section through changes of key and register in the second. The changing interplay of light and shade, the exchange between voices, and the growing tension toward the close are among its highlights. Ornaments and rapid passages should be played with even, clearly defined articulation, while the hands should remain well differentiated. Use the pedal sparingly to avoid blurring the texture, maintaining a light touch and a natural sense of phrase direction to bring out the work’s agility and expressive character.
