🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in E-Dur K.531 L.430

This single-movement sonata is marked by the bright sonority of E major and a light, forward-driving rhythm. Within its concise two-part structure, short motifs are passed between the voices, while changes in register and harmony create a sense of momentum. A key point of interest is the clear presentation of the delicate ornaments and recurring patterns, while bringing out the contrast between the two sections. In performance, avoid rushing the tempo, maintain a well-balanced relationship between the hands, and use a light touch with crisp articulation to convey its vitality. Use the pedal sparingly to keep the sound clear, and shape the direction of each phrase and the resonance at cadences with care.
