🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in D-Dur K.480 L.S8

This sonata is distinguished by the concise motives and clear forward momentum characteristic of Scarlatti’s keyboard sonatas. Built on a single-movement binary design, it develops through intricate motion and recurring phrases, with the musical tension shifting from the first half to the second. It is important to project the exchange between the voices clearly while maintaining a light rhythmic pulse. Ornaments should be integrated without interrupting the flow, and a well-balanced dynamic relationship between the hands will help bring out the work’s coherence and clarity toward the final cadence.
