🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in D-Dur K.352 L.S13

Among Scarlatti’s keyboard sonatas, this work condenses finely shaped figurations, lively rhythms, and ornamental motion into a concise single-movement design. The first and second parts respond to one another, making the changing character of recurring material and the direction of each phrase especially rewarding to hear. In performance, it is important to avoid a heavy sound and maintain clear, well-defined articulation. Ornaments should be played naturally and swiftly enough not to interrupt the flow, while balanced dynamics between the hands help give even the finer passages a steady pulse and sense of forward motion.
