🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in c-moll K.58 L.158

This sonata builds on short musical ideas, with the voices answering one another as imitative motion drives the music forward. Within its single-movement design, thematic material reappears in varied forms, creating a flow between tension and release. Clearly differentiating the individual voices is essential to conveying the work’s structure to the listener. Ornamentation and rapid details should not be rushed; keep the rhythmic momentum while maintaining a light touch. Avoid making the left-hand accompaniment too heavy, and attend to the direction of each phrase and the nuance of cadences to bring out the poised dialogue and vitality.
