🇮🇹Domenico Scarlatti ： Sonata in C-Dur K.143

This single-movement sonata leaves an impression with its clear rhythms and lively flow. Phrases built from short motifs are passed from one idea to the next, while the delicate movement of the right hand and the steady accompaniment of the left hand propel the music forward. A clear sense of the larger sections in the first and second halves, together with expressive and dynamic variation on their repetitions, helps bring out the structure. Keep the ornaments and intricate passages even and articulate without rushing, making the most of rests and phrase divisions. Maintaining a firm pulse within the lightness and carefully balancing the voices will bring the musical highlights into sharper relief.
