Robert Schumann ： Sieben Klavierstucke in Fughettenform d-moll Op.126-2

The second piece from Schumann’s *Sieben Klavierstücke in Fughettenform* is a compact contrapuntal work in which a short subject is passed between several voices and developed. Although each voice proceeds independently, together they form a unified musical flow, making it important to distinguish each entrance of the subject. In performance, clear, even articulation and a well-balanced texture that allows the inner voices to be heard help reveal the work’s structure.
