🇮🇹Muzio Clementi ： Monferrina in F-Dur WO16

Clementi’s Monferrina in F major is a light, dance-like piano piece with a bright and approachable character. The stable sonority of F major is complemented by buoyant rhythms and concise melodies, while repeated and contrasting phrases provide an enjoyable sense of shape. In performance, it is important to maintain a steady flow of the beat and to make the beginnings and endings of phrases sound natural. Avoid overly heavy playing; instead, use crisp articulation and restrained dynamic changes to bring out the work’s cheerful character and supple dance feeling.
