🇩🇪Robert Schumann ： Album fur die Jugend Sicilienne in a-moll Op.68-11

This short piece is marked by a gently lilting pulse and a singing melody. The right-hand melody and left-hand accompaniment move forward as if in a quiet dialogue, while compact phrase groups create a natural sense of flow. The changing expression that emerges through the exchange and repetition of the melodic material is one of its highlights. In performance, allow the melody to resonate fully while keeping the accompaniment restrained, and aim for a long, flowing legato through the ends of the phrases. Use the pedal carefully, changing it with the harmony so that the sound does not become blurred.
