🇩🇪Felix Mendelssohn ： 6 Children Pieces No.1 in G-Dur MWV.U171 Op.72

This is a charming miniature shaped by the brightness of G major and an open, natural lyricism. The music unfolds around a concise theme, with exchanges of melodic material and changes of expression within its brief span. The melody in the right hand should follow the flow of the notes and sing with smoothness. Meanwhile, the left-hand accompaniment should remain light and well controlled, never obscuring the melody. Identifying the peaks of each phrase and adding subtle dynamics and natural breathing brings warmth to the clarity of the music. Use the pedal sparingly so that the sound does not become blurred, allowing the poised articulation and lively movement to come through.
